This is a feminine-fitting vest that features a geometric design on the front and back that reminds me of a city skyline. It will be a flattering and comfortable addition to the work or casual wardrobe.

The vest is worked in 6 X 1 ribbing in two pieces with decreases at the waist. It is seamed at the sides, and stitches are picked up for the armholes and the low scoop neck. Shoulders are joined with a three-needle bindoff. There is short-row shaping at the bust, and the wraps are hidden in the purl stitches of the rib, so there is no need to pick them up.

Sizes range from XS(30-32 in. bust) to L (42-44 in. bust). All projects were knit to gauge, but used different yarns. I have been as accurate as possible in listing the yardage required for each size.

The finished vest is on display at The Bay Window yarn shop in Irvington, Virginia!
