This pattern is only available as part of Knit Picks ‘Outrageous Insteps’ collection.

Slanted uses a clever combination of simple knit and purl stitches that create stripes that seem to spiral down the leg.

The hybrid Fleegle Heel is an ingenious design that is integrated into the leg and worked in rounds, making it seamless and comfortable to wear in any shoes. Emerging neatly from the diagonal stripes, the heel seems to wander into the right position. These socks are worked from the top down and the pattern is both charted and written out.
