Slate Run Cowl creates a perfect balance of texture, stripes, and colorwork. This cozy neckwarmer is worked up in a cozy sport weight yarn that is just the right weight to layer underneath a coat. Work up the long loop version to get extra drama from the mosaic colorwork section. The sample is worked up in a classic neutral colorway to wear with anything, but this pattern is also a great canvas to work in pops of color.

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round. The colorwork section uses mosaic color knitting to achieve colorwork effect with only one color worked per round.
