“Slater” is perfect for road trips. I knit the ShiBui black cowl during the drive to Charlemont for some Whitewater Rafting! The ShiBui yarn was a dream! The short version uses all of the 210 yard skein from Dream in Color.

MATERIALS:
For Shorter Version (variagated):
1 skein Worsted Cashmere Blend by Dream in Color (70% superwash merino/20% cashmere/10% nylon with 210 yards) Color: Sept 2011 Dream Club
US 10, circular 24” needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch Markers

For Longer Version (black):
3 skeins Merino Worsted by ShiBui (100% superwash merino with 191 yards) Color: Ink
US 10, circular 24” needles or size needed to obtain gauge Stitch Markers

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Prior to Blocking:
Short = 24” bottom circumference; 8.5 length at center spine
Long = 36” bottom circumference, 24” neck circumference with 27” length at center spine.
Post Blocking:
Small = 32” bottom circumference; 9” length at center spine
Large = 40” bottom circumference; 24” neck circumference with 28” length at center spine
