Presenting… The Sleek Vee Scarf!

This scarf was designed to essentially fill a hole in my own personal closet. I wanted an absolutely gigantic scarf that could easily be wrapped around multiple times, worn as a shawl, tied in any way imaginable, and also serve as a personal little blanket. I wanted the scarf to have some structure along the edge, to look somewhat double-sided, and have a modern, tapered, symmetrical shape. Ta da!

The Sleek Vee Scarf is meant for all bodies and genders. It can easily be adjusted to create something monstrously oversized or small enough for a kid!

This scarf is bordered by a built in i-cord edge with a slip stitch carried along the inside to create more depth and structure to the scarf. All the magic happens on the WS rows, so slip stitches carry nicely along the RS (front) of the work. Even though this scarf is double-sided, one side is more “sleek” looking – hence the name of the pattern!

Gauge is NOT important to this particular scarf design. Instructions for modifications are included in the pattern notes as well. You’ll be provided tips to adjust the width, length, and even the yarn and needles used to create your own customized Sleek Vee Scarf.

The pattern recommends using worsted weight yarn and size 5.00mm needles. You’ll need about 1200-1500 yards of yarn depending on how long and wide you’d like your scarf to be.
