Stretchy comfortable bed socks.

A clever pattern where a garter band up the front of the sock forms the base. For every 4 rows of the garter band, 6 rows are knitted in stripes of unshaped stockinette and reverse stockinette which allow enough stretch to form a heel when the socks are worn.

The pattern works well when adapted for modern yarn.
