This crochet pattern gives you the instructions, so that you can make an adorable little newborn baby boy sleepy hat and matching amigurumi bear prop. Plush bear is made with stitched on eyes, so no small choking hazards of buttons or safety eyes. Perfect addition to any photo session.

Materials Needed:
Heavy Lace Weight Yarn--Yarn pictured is:
Cumulus by Fyberspates (74% Baby Alpaca, 26% Mulberry Silk; 164 yards/25 grams)
1 Skein Used in Color Camel 912 (160 yards)
1 Skein Used in Color Sea Green 910 (75 yards)
Size #4 Worsted Weight Yarn -- Yarn pictured:
Red Heart Soft in Chocolate (1 yard-bear’s eyes/nose)
Size E/3.5 mm and Size H/5.0 mm Crochet Hook-or hook needed for gauge
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Tape Measure
Poly-Fill stuffing

1 skein used (160 yards), but bear is created by holding two strands of yarn together. Choice of balling yarn into two separate balls or using two separate skeins.*

Gauge:
With ‘H’ hook and heavy lace weight yarn: 4 Rows of dc and 7 dc stitches across is 2” by 2”
With ‘E” hook, you just want your stitches tight enough, so that the stuffing doesn’t show through. For this pattern, you will be holding two strands of heavy lace weight yarn together.
