The essence of autumn - falling leaves!

Charted lace leaves grace the leg and instep; gussets are worked in the round at the same time as the heel flap, with no gusset stitches to pick up.

Knit top-down; rib cuff with leaf lace leg/instep, heel and gussets worked in the round (no gusset sts to pick up after heel flap).

MATERIALS

YARN
Oceanwind Knits Merino, 100% Hand-dyed Superwash Merino, fingering-weight, 407yds per 113g [4oz]; or, other fingering weight sock yarn

NEEDLES
2.25-2.75mm [US1 - 2] set of DPNs or circular[s] to suit your Preferred style of knitting socks in the round

OTHER
tapestry needle for weaving in ends, stitch markers (4)

GAUGE
8 sts and 12 rows = 1” [2.25cm] in stockinette stitch [pre-blocking].

take time to check tension and change needle if required
