The patterns offers alternative stitch patterns and design elements for the waistcoats. One version in stockinette, one in Birdsfoot stitch which is a slip stitch that gives vertical stripes, and one in horizontal, alternating stripes of dark and light blue.

NB! There’s a typo in the pattern concerning the front bands and sleeve bands. The pattern first tells us to use 12 sts then changes the number to 6.
