Slice of green is a crescent-shaped shawl inspired by a slice of kiwi. The sample shown is knitted in hand dyed gradient yarn. This shawl would look wonderful in a solid or semi-solid yarn, too.
The border is shaped with short rows.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
After blocking:

  • Size Small: Width: approx 105 cm/41” from end to end after blocking. Depth: measures approx 31 cm/12” at deepest point of center.

  • Size Large: Width: approx 170 cm/ 67” from end to end after blocking.
    Depth: measures approx 60 cm/24” at
    deepest point of center.

MATERIALS:

  • Approximately one (two) skein of 300 m/328 yards fingering weight yarn
  • US7 (4,5mm) 32” circular needle or size to obtain gauge
  • 19 (21) stitch markers

GAUGE:
16 sts = 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch.
Gauge is not crucial, but different gauge gives different finished size
