This started out as a scarf I started knitting when I needed a simple project, and evolved into an almost-shawl. It’s a simple lace and cable pattern that only has 3 rows to remember. If you’d like a wider version just add 13 stitches for each additional pattern repeat desired. When the original (made out of discontinued Knit Picks Color Your Own Merino, approx. 600 yards to 150g) was blocked it ended up 11” x 70”. Make sure you block it aggressively in order to show off the contrast between the cables and the lace.

The original yarn has been discontinued, but this pattern would work well with any fingering weight yarn.
