Much less delicate than the real thing, our friendly sea slug (or nudibranch) amigurumi toy will love sharing cuddles and imaginative play. Three different yarns work well together to recreate the textures and constantly changing expression of these flamboyant little creatures.

Materials
- Scheepjes Cahlista (100% Natural Cotton; 50g/85m)
Yarn A: 401 Dark Teal x 4 balls
Yarn B: 249 Saffron x 2 balls
Yarn C: 256 Cornelia Rose x 2 balls
Yarn D: 518 Marshmallow x 1 ball

  • Scheepjes River Washed XL (70% Cotton, 30% Acrylic; 50g/75m) Yarn E: 992 Rhine x 1 ball

  • Scheepjes Furry Tales (100% Polyester; 100g/57m) Yarn F: 991 Over the Rainbow x 1 ball

-3.5mm crochet hook

  • Stitch markers
  • 2 x 11mm animal safety eyes
  • 1 x 400g bag polyester stuffing
  • 1 x small, heavy ball (golf ball size)
  • Small amount of white yarn
  • White acrylic paint pen

Pattern notes
Sea Slug is made of several pieces, joined tog before decorative details are added. Patt uses amigurumi method. Work sts continuously in a spiral without closing each round with ss. Pm in first st of each round, moving it up as you go. Where specified, work some sections in rows. Turn work after each row unless instructed otherwise. Cc in last yoh of st before change as folls:
insert hook in st, yoh, pull up lp in prev colour, yoh in new colour and draw new colour through all lps. All bobble sts are worked in Yarn E. Cc to Yarn E in final yoh of st before bobble, work
bobble (see Special Abbreviations), drop Yarn E, pull working colour back onto hook, fasten off Yarn E, securing ends on WS. On subsequent rows/rounds, make sure to work 1 st in top of each bobble. Finished Sea Slug uses approx. 340g stuffing.
