This easy slip stitch cowl uses only 2 different stitches: knit stitches and slip stiches purlwise with yarn in front.
So this is a nicy project to try slip stitches for the first time!

For this project you will hold 2 threads of yarn together.

The cowl is knitted flat, with only one seam on the shoulder.

Size: 24 x 13 inch / 61 x 33 cm. If you would like the cowl to be wider, instructions are given how to adjust the pattern.

Supplies:

  • 2 skeins Drops Fabel Longprint, color 623
  • 2 skeins Drops Baby Merino, color 44
  • You will have plenty leftover yarn, so 1,5 skeins of each color will be sufficient
  • Straight knitting needles size US 10.5 / 6,5 mm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Optional for embellishment: shawl pin, broche, 4 buttons
