This pattern is worked with one continuous length of yarn without any stops and starts, except for the Ears and Tail which are sewed on after completing the body.

The primary stitch used in this pattern is the Slip Stitch.

Using Size H (5.00mm) hook and 4ply knitting yarn the finished elephant is about 7 inches long.
