This hat was an exploration of slip stitch. Most of the hat is slip stitch in the front loop only in rounds. I love the smooth solid, but lightweight fabric this stitch produces. I also like the roll brim that results.

The last two photos show a couple of different looks you can get from this hat. Inside out with a dc brim(the inside fabric is interesting too) and right side out with a folded up brim.

As my testers discovered, this pattern does not work well with 100% acrylic yarn - not enough bounce or stretch.
