Very simply fingerless mitts made from a square in three different slip stitches, Back Loop Only (BLO), Inverse Back Loop Only (iB)/Front Loop Only (FLO) also known as “flat stitch”, and Back Loop Only (BLO) with taller stitches to create a textured wave.

Pattern outlines measurements for most adults but is easily adjustable to any size by working the square to the size of the hand you wish to fit.

Pattern can also be worked in any yarn and stitch count modified in order to meet required measurement. I recommend you use a hook two sizes larger than recommended for the yarn in order to make working the slip stitches easier.
