Slipstream features a shaped arch, which fits your foot like a glove. A center front lace panel is flanked by twisted cables reminiscent of a stream in a forest. The lace panel is easily memorized and the cables are created without a cable needle. The increases and decreases used to achieve the arch shaping narrows the lace panel to a point at the top of the instep. You maybe tempted to buy new shoes to highlight this feature! The pattern includes both charted and written instructions for the gusset and arch shaping.
