This pattern is available for AU$4.50 AUD buy it now

A free version is also available.

This pattern is currently available for free: use the coupon code “Sock Madness” when checking out.
This code works only once per Ravelry member, so check and make sure the payment is $0.00 before you go to PayPal. If not, and you do pay AU$4.50, I will assume it is because you like to buy me a cup of coffee, see below. In that case: Thanks!

SlipStripeSpiral is a great way to blend two ‘difficult’ yarns, with often surprising results. The toe, heel and cuff show the individual yarns. The foot and leg are knit with the yarns alternating each round, this way the slipped stitch columns create stripes lengthwise.

The SlipStripeSpiral sock pattern was the 2016 first round pattern in the Sock Madness speed knitting competition.

Sometimes, less often these days, I collect patterns only because they are Free! or, worse, Free for a limited time! - as if I don’t have a life time’s worth of patterns already, sigh.
So please think twice before you download it just because it is there, only to have it clog up your bits and bytes.

The main reason I think that this SlipStripeSpiral pattern should be free, is that it isn’t my work as such, but a lucky combination of elements from other designers. Because these are available for free, I don’t think it is fair to charge $$.
Ok, I did spend (a lot) of time creating, checking, and writing the actual pattern, so to put a monetary value to it, AU$ 4.50 will get me a cup of coffee at our Saturday afternoon knitting at the Museum garden cafe. Thanks.
The coupon code reduces the price to $0.00. This is not going to change in the near future, but I do reserve the right to change my mind.

Happy knitting!
