This scarf serves two purposes for me. It uses all the small bits of handspun I have accumulated -- it’s a great way to use up my first handspun yarns, yarns from classes, or new spinning from all of those 2- and 4-ounce amounts of fiber I’ve bought and am dying to sample. I also get tired of wearing the same scarf all fall or winter -- so I simply unbutton the inner scarf and exchange it for another one for a whole new look.
