This hat is worked from the bottom up in the round, with an optional pom-pom.

MATERIALS:
-- Premier® Yarns DK ColorsTM (100% Anti-Pilling Acrylic; 5oz/140g, 383yds/350m) • #1071-31 Wisteria – 1 ball
-- Needles:
US Size 6 (4 mm) 16” circular needle or dpns, and
US Size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” circular needle or dpns or size needed to obtain gauge
-- Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, large pom-pom maker (optional)

STITCH GUIDE
Chevron pattern (multiple of 14 sts):
Rnds 1 and 2: Knit.
Rnd 3: K1, KIBL, k4, s2kp, k4, KIBR; rep from to end.
Rnd 4: Knit.
Rep Rnds 1-4 for patt.

KIBR (Knit Increase Below Right Leaning) -- K into st below next st, k1 into st on LHN, slide st off LHN, 1 st inc’d.

KIBL (Knit Increase Below Left Leaning) -- K1, but leave st on LHN, k into st below, slide st off LHN, 1 st inc’d.
