This is a quick and easy pattern to knit a slouchy tam which can easily be made even more slouchy with an extra pattern repeat. The lace pattern which spirals round the hat is easy to follow and the hat is knitted flat and then seamed up the side, making it ideal for novice knitters too.

You only need 50g of worsted/Aran weight yarn (or a little more for a more slouchy hat) and an evening or so to knit up this winter warmer.
