Slouchy, YO is a tam-style hat for thick-and-thin yarn, constructed side-to-side and then seamed.

About this Design:

There just aren’t enough patterns for slubby thick and thin handspun (which is my favorite yarn to spin and dye).

I wanted to create a pattern that a relatively new knitter would tackle so I wrote it for straight needles, but it easily adaptable to circulars or double points.

The yarn overs in combination with the thick and thin wool create a traveling cable look and help in the shaping of the design.
