This pattern is the kids’ version of Charm City Shawlette, and is part of the Charm City Kids collection!

For little girls on the go, a shawl is a bit impractical—they need something that will stay put! This cowlette version of the original shawl features the same lace patterning, but is knit in the round and can be worn around the neck as a cowl, or pulled down over the shoulders as a capelet, for more warmth. The pattern includes both charts and written instructions. The lace repeat is short and easy to memorize, making this a great project for on-the-go knitting.
