Skill Level: Adventurous-Beginner; the lace stitches are very basic and there are a lot of rest rows. This pattern includes chart-reading, yarn overs, knit 2 together, slip-slip-knit, and centered decreases

Materials: Approximately 1100 yards (1000m) of lace yarn total. For the three-color version, include
Color A: approx. 330 yds. (300m)
Color B: approx. 430 yds. (400m)
Color C: approx. 340 yds. (310m)

Needle: US 3 (3.25mm) circular needle (the entire thing can be squished onto a 24-inch cord, but larger is fine). The beginning of the shawl can be worked in magic loop method, or on size US 3 (3.25mm) DPNs.
Tools: Blocking materials, tapestry needle
Gauge: 19 stitches and 34 rounds per 4 inches or 10 cm, measured in the stockinette section of the center ring
Sizing: adjustable to preference (work more or fewer repeats to change the size)
