this is a pattern for a knit snail cozy. my Black Lip snail is about 3/4”. it should be fairly easy to adapt the pattern to fit a larger snail by adding a few stitches or using larger yarn & needles. fitting a smaller snail probably requires better eyesight & eye/hand coordination than i have, but using smaller needles should work.
this uses very little yarn. i used a lace weight, with one ply black mohair & one ply a shiny multicolor rayon that i’ve had around for 20 years or so, which unfortunately lost it’s label.
