Thank you for looking at our very special collaboration we did with Kim from Gingersnap Yarns (@gingersnapthat1)!

This stole/ wrap was done totally with Kim in mind, and one thing we know about Kim as a knitter is that she despises garter stitch… say what?? People actually hate garter!? lol. With that in mind, the Snap That Wrap is full of beautiful lace and a little honeycombe brioche with just a touch of garter at the very tip.. just to bug KIM!! haha.

You will need:

Size 3.75 mm needles. Suggested cord length is 24-36”. The stitch count will never exceed 138 sts.
Because of the brioche, you will not be able to use straight needles.

3 colors of Gingersnap That fingering weight yarn approx 420 yds each. Pictures show 2 solids and 1 speckled.
Suggested layout: C1 - solid C2 - speckled C3 solid.

Stockinette Gauge: 6sts and 9 rows in 1” blocked

Helpful Hints:
This is considered an INTERMEDIATE pattern because of the beautiful Paprys lace and the honeycomb brioche. You will want a very loose cast on for the beginning. We suggest holding an extra needle along with your needle, either the same size or smaller, and cast on with both needles.

For the 2 color honeycomb brioche stitch, refer to the YouTube tutorial by Purl Soho but note that she uses slightly different brioche terms than we do.

We hope you enjoy this knit, and you can find chatter and KAL’s to go along with it in our cozyupknits group here on Ravelry.

Happy Knitting!
