The Snow Day Scarf is a scrumptious, luxurious accessory that will make you feel cozy on even the coldest days. It is crocheted with beautiful yarn and a textural stitch (a stitch that looks complicated but is very easy to memorize once you do a few rows!). I like to pin my scarf with a rustic shawl pin or fancy brooch. Just depends on my mood : )

To make the Snow Day Scarf you will need a J10/6.0mm crochet hook, two skeins of Araucania Azapa yarn (200 grams all together), a yarn needle, and scissors. The color of yarn I used is #801.

Azapa yarn is a Bulky/12ply weight that is mix of alpaca and wool fibers (with a touch of silk for extra softness). If you want to substitute a different yarn, simply choose another Bulky/12ply skein. Gauge is not important to the success of this pattern.

This crochet pattern uses common techniques and is suitable for all levels of crocheters. You will be using basic skills such as chaining and double crochet. This pattern goes step-by-step and includes photos along the way!
