april 2015: I have published an updated version of the pattern for each language. The new versions include explained abbreviations and corrected misspelling.

Note: Due to tax changes in the EU which go into effect on January 1st, 2015, I had to adapt the pricing. This pattern sells f or 2.90 € excluding VAT. Depending on the customers residence VAT will be calculated and added. So depending on where you live, the price will be about 20% (more or less) higher than in 2014. Unfortunately I had to change this on a short notice. I hope for your understanding.

Don’t we all remember the thrill we felt as children for the first snowfall? I still do, every winter. Sometimes I start anticipating the cosiness of the cold season in late summer already. Being a knitter it is easy to get in the mood - just by starting the right winter project preferably with a lot of snowflakes.

SNOW FLURRY is a little vest for children which does not take a lot of time but gives a whole lot of knitting joy. It also makes a gorgeous gift for Christmas.

The vest features stranded knitting and can be a very good exercise before starting bigger projects. It is knit in the round, thus the stranded knitting will be done only knitwise. The finishing will be very quick because there are no seams, only the shoulders will be grafted together using kitchener stitch. The pattern includes written instructions and a chart as well as an outline for size.

SNOW FLURRY is available in three children’s sizes: 3 to 4 years, 5 to 6 years and 7 to 8 years.

I very much suggest Blacker Yarns Pure Shetland 4ply for this vest.
