Inspired by Wintery woodland glades, these cosy mittens are knitted in the round using stranded colour work.

2 x 50gms skeins of 4-ply fingering weight yarn are required, in high- or low-contrasting colours. The pattern sample was made using Crystal Palace Yarns Mini Mochi and Garn Studios Drops Alpaca. Full instructions and charts included for sizes S (M, L).

To fit 7” (7.5”, 8”) around the knuckles, excluding the thumb. (Actual size 7.5” (8”, 8.5”) around the knuckles/palm). Adjustable length.

2.25 (2.5, 2.75)mm 6 x dpns, or size needed to get the required gauge or size.

Gauge
Stranded 2-colour stockinette stitch:
S (9.5 sts = 1 inch on 2.25mm);
M (9 sts = 1 inch on 2.5mm);
L (8.5 sts = 1 inch on 2.75mm).
