Snow Globe

Knitting
November 2013
Light Fingering / 3 ply ?
26 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unblocked)
US 3 - 3.25 mm
US 2 - 2.75 mm
175 - 250 yards (160 - 229 m)
14(16, 18) inches around brim and 8.5(10, 12) inches in diameter to fit heads measuring up to 19(21, 23) inches in circumference (washed and blocked)

Everyone appreciates a festive, seasonal accessory and this lacy tam in three sizes (S/M/L) will add a pretty touch from November through February to keep the compliments coming. Knit in the round from brim to peak in a mix of simple to work pine tree and star motifs, the results belie its simplicity. With alternate rows all in knit, this project is a good traveler that is easily worked in multiples to tuck away as gifts.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.

Pattern price listed is the price for the entire eBook membership (to eventually include patterns for all 6 chapters)

sample shown is knit in Yarn Hollow Superior, colorway white pine, currently available only to FIFC 2013 members

pattern is currently exclusive to members of fall in full color club 2013 and will be offered as a single release after one year (november 17, 2014)
