Inspired by the Happy Snowman, Olaf in Disney’s “Frozen” this hat will give you warm hugs all winter long.

Seamless base Earflap hat is quick and very easy, knitting up in approximately 2 hours. Fun embellishments will bring your hat to life.

Suggested Yarns:  Super Bulky- I recommend Spud & Chloe Outer in Snow Day- 1 Skein plus a few yards, Very small amounts of worsted weight in White, Blue, Black, Orange and Brown. I recommend Spud & Chloe Sweater in Igloo, Skydiver, Penguin, Life Jacket and Root Beer

Materials needed:

Needles: US Size 13, 16” Circular needles in US Size 15, Size 15 DPN or a second set of Size 15 Circular Needles, set of size 4 DPN

Tapestry Needle, Stitch Marker, small amount of fiberfill

Crochet Hooks in sizes: M13 or a comfortable size for super bulky yarns and G6

Knitting Stitches: Long Tail Cast On, Backwards Loop Cast on, Knit, Purl, Knit2Together, Knit Front Back, Slip Slip Knit, Three Needle Bind Off

Crochet Stitches: Chain, Slip, Single Crochet, Magic Loop

Abbreviations: K= Knit, P=Purl, K2tog= Knit 2 together, KFB= Knit the front and back of the stitch (Increase), SSK= Slip Slip Knit (Slip one stitch as if to knit, slip second stitch as if to knit, insert left needle into both stitches and knit together), SC= Single Crochet
