Once in a while, I see a hat somewhere and I absolutely fall in love with it. That’s when the reproducing process starts. Snow Valley is the result of one of these moments.
I love this stitch. The colour work seems very involved and intricate but it’s quite the opposite. You are only knitting with one colour at a time, only switching at the beginning of each row.
Like most people, I find it much faster to knit as opposed to purl. For this reason the hat is worked inside out and all the slipped stitches are done with the yarn in front of the work.
The pattern has a 6 stitch repeat making it easy to change the stitch count to accommodate different sizes/yarns.
