I’ve adapted the lace pattern in the snowdrop lace scarf to a matching hat. It has a garter edge, three staggered lace repeats and a stockinette finish.

The pattern is written for a woman’s small/medium with a 96 stitch cast on.

This hat was knit in a heavy sport-weight wool for my daughter-in-law at my gauge and then blocked. It fits her very well. But many knitters have had difficulty with the hat being too small. Additional knit rows can be added at round 35 to make a larger hat.
