Glittering ice crystals in the sun - capture the magic beauty of winter in a delicately shaped beaded shawl. The shawl can be worn instead of a scarf to keep you warm on a cold day, but it looks just as nice around the shoulder to pep up elegant evening garments.

The short row shaping - done in German short rows with double stitches which are explained in the pattern - creates a lovely curved edge, so that the shawl sits more easily on your shoulders.

Knit Now Issue 31 was on sale in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK and worldwide from webstore on 6th February 2014.
