The snowy owl is a massive and majestic owl that is unusual as it is active during both the day and night. This pattern captures the grace and fluidity of the snowy owl’s wings.

The slip stitch pattern mimics the offset layers of feathers while the dropped stitch section pops open and breathes life into the cowl just like the owl as it stretches its wings and takes flight.

With this cowl you can be like the snowy owl during the day or night bundled up in fashionable layers. Pay homage to the owls in your area and choose a color that matches their feathers!

This cowl is a quick knit perfect for a last minute gift or when you need instant gratification. It can be worn long and lovely or wrapped doubled to hug your neck.
