This pattern is available for free.

Materials: 5oz. Patons “Beehive” fingering wool, 3-ply (Patonised Shrink-resist finish); 1 pair each of No. 9 and No. 13 knitting needles; 1 No. 10 crochet hook; 3 small pearl buttons: 1yd. of narrow ribbon.

Measurements: Length from top of from to lower edge. 20½in.; width all round under the arms, 25in.

Note from Raveller: Pattern calls for 5 oz. of yarn, no yardage specified, an approximation would be around 600 yards. No pattern was given for the tension square, but I’d do a square in stockinette for this garment.
