This cosy shrug has a completely seamless construction. Beginning with a provisional cast-on (step-by-step photos included), the back panel is worked flat and then folded in half to form the armholes. The provisional stitches are then added to the working needle to knit the collar in the round. Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up from the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round down to the cuff.

The shrug is worked with two yarns held together throughout.
