Crochet Mug cozy pattern with a modern asymmetrical chunky style. Great for yourself or as a gift this cozy takes an hour or less to complete. Uses 40 yards of cotton so it’s a great stash busting project too!

Cozy will fit a standard mug with straight or tapered size. Wraps around the bottom snugly for a tight fit that won’t slide up when used to hold the cup.

This ended up being a sampler of crochet stitches, and while it is not “tv” crocheting or something your hands can work mindlessly while you pay attention to other tasks it is still quickly made for some “instant gratification” feeling.

This project is intermediate difficulty, but can be done by a beginner. All stitches are explained in the glossary. For more help there are great YouTube videos for the stitches.
