Finished Measurements: Small – 40” by 13”; Large – 50” by 14”

Needles: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) for DK weight yarn; or US Size 9 (5.5 mm) for worsted weight yarn; 32” circular needle

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in st st with DK weight yarn on size 7 needles or 14 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) in st st with worsted weight yarn on size 9 needles

Yarn Requirements: 200 - 350 yards / 185 - 320 meters DK to worsted weight yarn

This pattern is great for any yarn that has long color repeats or a gradient yarn. I originally designed it as a great way to show off your handspun because you can simply knit until you run out of yarn.

The handspun in the picture was spun to have increasingly longer color repeats so the stripes would be maintained in the shawl as the rows got longer.
