These full mittens can be made in any sock yarn, leftover scraps are ideal for striping or colour blocking. It is written for one size (teen/small adult) but suggestions are included for sizing to fit any hand. The mittens are knitted finger-tip to cuff on circular needles, and feature a gusseted thumb and an interesting stretchy cuff. About 50g of yarn is required for the pair as described, more would be needed for larger sizes.

This pattern has not been tech edited or test knit, except by me, although the overall technique of top-down mittens and incorporating a thumb in this way have been both tech edited and test knit for similar patterns. If you find any errors or unclear passages in the pattern, please let me know so that I can correct/clarify. Full pattern support is available by emailing sue@granaryknits.co.uk
