Different patterns and stitches make this sock a fun knit.

The ribbing has a small cable and is followed by a stranded colourwork repeat and stripes. The sock is knit down from the cuff and has a heel flap.

Fits European women’s size 38 to 40 (UK 5 to 6.5 / US 7 to 9).

Leg circumference: 21 cm / 8.3 inches.

Length from cuff to heel is 26 cm / 10.3 inches
More stripes can be added for a longer sock. The chart is divisible by 8, so if can add an extra repeat if you need to make a wider size.

YARN

Fingering sock yarn, for example:

Sandnes SISU, 80% wool 20% nylon (175 m (191 yds) / 50 g

The pattern provides written instructions for the cable ribbing and some link to tips on how to knit it without an extra cable needle.

Also there are useful tips on how to knit jogless stripes and on colourwork.

The instructions are written for dpns but if you are experienced sock knitter, you can easily adapt it and knitt with magic loop. You might need some extra stitch markers.
