The pattern makes a 14” tall soft doll, knitted from the top of the head down and proportionally represents an adult.

If you need it to be taller/shorter, you can knit more or fewer rows in the torso, and in the areas between decreases on the arms and legs.

I used the Rico because I needed a brown skin tone; Sirdar Calico does a reasonable peach skin tone - the gauge for that is slightly different, but the doll comes out at roughly the same size.

As well as your 4mm needles (DPNs or circ, I used DPNs but I can’t see why circs wouldn’t work) you’ll need a few pieces of scrap yarn to hold stitches, and 4 stitch markers.
