Inspired by porcelain lattice work tableware, these bowls show that pretty little lace panels can have a big impact when they dress up a basic felted bowl. The lace patterns are simple, the bowls knit up quickly, and the two are brought together with felting needles to create something special.

Yarn: Cascade Chunky 128 used for bowls (1 skein will make two bowls), Cascade Lana D’Oro used for lace trim.

Gauge: 10 sts and 14 rnds = 4” in St st with Chunky 128 yarn on larger needles; 9 sts and 13¼ rows = 2” in chevron lace pattern with Lana D’Oro; 14¾ sts and 22 rows = 4” in vine lace pattern; 4 sts and 4½ rows = 1” in eyelet lace pattern.
