This pattern was created in collaboration with Manos del Uruguay. When asked whether I would like to design something for any of their yarns, I decided on Fino, a very delicate, single ply, lighter fingering weight yarn. Since this yarn is amazingly soft, I appropriately named the resulting cardigan “Softly”! It’s worked top down seamlessly, with an interesting gathered detail at the back collar, a delicate lace panel on the back and hem and i-cord finishing on both body and sleeves.

“Softly” was designed in collaboration with Manos Del Uruguay Yarns.
