Slipstitch colorwork cowl in slouchy and fitted versions, recalling the intricate stacked shapes and vibrant colors of Ottoman architecture.
Part of the Sailing To Byzantium Collection, designs inspired by the art and architecture of ancient Constantinople. Designed for the Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project 2011.
Yarn: approximately 75-100 yards each of MC and CC.
Techniques Used: Cable cast on, corrugated ribbing, slipstitch colorwork in two patterns, knit/purl.
Experience Level: Intermediate. This pattern contains both full written and charted instructions
