Solana Beach is a beautiful coastal town that boasts many artistic stores and eateries. Even though this town is situated north of San Diego, it does get cool with their foggy mornings. Like its name sake, this cowl is not only artistic, it will keep you cozy while strolling down the street visiting many of their eclectic shops, breweries, wineries and shops.

Solana Beach is a cozy cowl that is knitted from the bottom, up. Increasing every other row, creates the gentle slopping V shape, while creating eyelets on the sides for the fringe. The cable pattern is worked simultaneously. The instructions for the cable are charted and written out.

The cowl can be easily modified to fit any body type. During the increasing portion, you can add or omit sections to create the desired width of the opening.
