Here we have a very interesting square. There is blue skies and a sun showing off it’s solar flares. There is some color changes involved to make the flares stand out but can be made with out them.

One of the testers had never done the color changes before and she found it very easy and no longer shies away from those kind of patterns. There are not that many color changes and I do explain how to do them. This would be a good starting pattern if you want to learn how to do the color changes. I include the cues for when to do them making it even easier.

This can be made in so many different ways. You can do the color changes or not. You could stop after squaring it off and make it as a potholder using the 3/4 circles as a hanger. You can make it to add to your afghan. You could even make it as far as the solar flare and turn it into a purse for a lucky little girl. I am sure you can come up with more ideas of what to do, these are just a start of what can be done.

This will be free at least until the end of the year. After that I make no promises, so grab it while you can. As always I am here to help if you need me. The pattern contains all the ways to reach me.

I hope you enjoy it and please link up when you make it so I can see what you have done with it.

A special thank you to the testers!

On July 6, 2019 I updated the pattern so round 15 makes more sense.
