This hat is worked from the top down to the brim. As shown, there are two colors used but you can also use one color or even a variegated fiber for a unique look. Instructions are given to improve the fit. It is written in one size but if you want it to be looser, you can increase the number of sections easily. We added extra photos to help with instructions. The pattern uses a combination of needles that is well described in the instructions.
It will seem difficult at first but once the crown is completed, it will be easier.
This pattern will give useful practice in picking up stitches but is basically knit and purl stitches throughout.

If using two different yarns, the main color will take about 114 yds and the secondary color about 77 yds. If using one color, you will need approx. 184 yds.
Two brim options are also included.
