People all over the world (everybody) Join hands (join), Start a sock train, sock train. People all over the world (all the world, now), Join hands (knit socks). Start a sock train (knit socks), sock train. The next stop that we make will be soon. Tell all the folks in Canada and the US, too. Don’t you know that it’s time to get on board. And let this train keep on knitting, knitting on through…with apologies to the writers of “Love Train”

Designed for the Canadian Crazy Train KAL and currently available only to participants.

Pattern will be available for purchase after the KAL (March 2015). Please leave a comment or pm me if you wish to be notified when pattern is released.

Knit cuff down with heel flap/gusset construction. The sock starts with a lacy scalloped topped ribbed cuff. The easy to memorize lace pattern goes down the leg and the instep, ending in the toe. The heel features an eye of partridge flap with a garter stitch edge.

The lace is the focus when knit with a solid, semi-solid or tonal colorway. The sock is also fun in a self-striping yarn where the colors are the focus.

Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.

Shown in Kertzer On Your Toes (390 yds/100 gm), Carnation. Medium size with 9 ¾ inch foot used about 315 yds.
