This is a smaller, slightly different version of “Koi Pond”. But there are no beads on this one and the short row section is shallower. This makes the shawl work as a scarf also.

It’s worked from soothing, quiet colors of YOTH “Mother”. This yarn is lacework, but it works well as a fingering, as you can see. I love YOTH yarns. They have a wonderful hand and this one gives great stitch definition.

The top of the shawl employs a lovely twisted eyelet design. I’ve never seen this stitch before and I believe I made it up! (If anyone finds it in a stitch book, please let me know!)

This is a quick knit, as shawls go. Great for gifting!
